Roberta M. Lancaster, 88, a resident of Shoshone, Idaho passed on May 14, 2021, at Grace Assisted Living.
Roberta was born on October 21, 2021, in Douglas, Arizona, the daughter of Henry and Dorthy Thrasher.
She was raised and educated in Oxnord, California.
She was a Candy Striper from 1968 to 1970. In 1970 Bob met Roberta through the wife of a friend. On May 19, 1971 in Carson City, Nevada, she married Robert E. Lancaster. She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. With her husband Bob, she was an owner of the Stockade Bar in Richfield from 1980 to 1984.
She was a lover of animals and enjoyed painting beautiful oil paintings of landscapes. She loved to travel and go on adventures. Escaping into the world of literature gave her joy especially Louis La’more.
In her younger years, she was a fiery redhead. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her husband Robert E. Lancaster, daughters Mary Crusey and Crystle Lancaster, brothers Henry Thrasher Jr., sister Gloria Dawn Thrasher, grandchildren John Murphy and Alexis Jimemez, and great grandchildren Emily Murphy and Natalia Jimenez-Lancaster. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Demaray’s Jerome Memorial Chapel.
A Celebration of Life dinner will follow at El Sombrero.
