NORMA PRADO

Norma Prado, 56, of Jerome, the daughter of Barbara Kay Zamarripa and Ramon G. Zamarripa. passed away peacefully on Monday, August 2, 2021, with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was born October 6, 1964, in Jerome, Idaho. She was raised in Twin Falls.

She married and raised her children in Twin Falls and spent her final years with her children between Burley and Caldwell. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who she spoiled like crazy. Norma will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who was always there for her family and friends.

Norma is survived by her four children, Angel Ortiz of Jerome, Crystal Martinez (Isidro) of Jerome, Thomas Ortiz of Jerome, and Martin Prado of Jerome. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jesse, Dominic, Alyssa, Mckenzie, Michael, Thomas Jr., Mateo, Isidro: her siblings Mae Boutwell (Johnny) Ramon “Bubby” Zamarripa, Nikcole K. Zamarripa (Uriel), Stephinee Fernandez-Martinez (Serafin); and many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and sister Victoria Ruth Cervantes of Jerome, Idaho.

Services for Norma will be held on Saturday, August 14th at 2:30 pm at Demaray's Jerome Memorial Chapel in Jerome 629 3rd Avenue East Jerome, Idaho 83338 followed by a graveside burial at the Jerome Cemetery.
