Luis Hernandez Ruiz

Luis Hernandez Ruiz, passed away on September 11, 2022.

He was born on June 3rd, 1961, in Penjamo Guanajuato, to Luis and Aurora Hernandez, those that knew him will remember him as a charismatic, funny, and full of life individual who enjoyed making others laugh.

He married the love of his life, Guillermina Villa in 1982 and together they raised four amazing children. He did everything in his ability to make sure his family lived a good and memorable life.

Luis was a hard-working farmer but that was only the tip of the iceberg with him. He had many incredible qualities that people admired. In his free time, Luis played the guitar and accordion and held mini concerts in his home kitchen. He enjoyed spending time with his family and built a strong bond with his grandchildren. He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed nature’s views.  Anytime he could take the long route home, he would take it, listening to his favorite song, “El muchacho Alegre”. He loved long walks in his hometown Hazelton. Even with being 61 years old that man would be able to out walk most of his children and grandchildren.

His family and community will remember Luis as an outgoing, goofy and happy individual. He was the type of individual that would talk to anyone he would come across. Even in his darkest times he made light of the situation. He enjoyed cracking jokes and taking silly pictures with his grandchildren. He always had energy to pull pranks on his wife even though she did not enjoy them. Luis would love to hide in corners of his room, as anyone would walk by that corner he would pop out and scare his family. He still had the strength in him to encourage his family and others to live their life to the max every day. His family will always remember how much of a caring individual he was, and they will each carry and share with the world.

Luis is survived by his parents Luis and Aurora and his wife Guillermina, his 11 siblings, as well as his three sons, Luis, Edgar, Rey and his daughter Abilene Hernandez and his 11 grandchildren. 

Luis will be remembered as an amazing father, son, brother and best friend. 

Luis’s Memorial Service will be held on September 17th, 2022, at Demaray’s Jerome Memorial Chapel 629 3rd Ave. E. Jerome Idaho at 5pm, for those individuals who would like to join and celebrate the amazing life he lived.
