Jean Marie Gause

Jean Marie Gause, 91, of Jerome, Idaho passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Ashley Manor in Jerome.

Jean was born on Aug. 24, 1931, in Nebraska, the daughter of Frank J. and Amelia (Nutsch) Scheer.

She was raised and educated in Jerome.  On Aug. 10, 1953, she married Gerald "RED" Gause in Jerome.  They traveled during the time Gerald served in the United States Air Force.  They later settled in Jerome.

Jean was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.  

Jean is survived by her children: Frances M Gause, Robert E. Gause, Gerald S. Gause, and Diane M. Bettencourt, two sisters; Frances Ehrmantraut and Joan Hansing, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald, a son Steven Gause, and a brother Harold Scheer.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 3:00 pm at the Jerome Cemetery.
