Gabriel Arevalo, 33, of Jerome, Idaho formerly from Glenn’s Ferry, Idaho, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, after a year-long battle with cancer. He passed peacefully, surrounded by the people he loved most. A devoted husband, proud father, beloved son, cherished brother, and loyal friend, Gabe touched the lives of everyone he met with his warmth, generosity, and unwavering kindness.
Gabe’s greatest joy in life was his family, especially his son, Asher, who was the light of his life. His love for sports was second only to his love for those close to him. A passionate Yankees, Lakers, and Duke fan, Gabe could often be found cheering on his favorite teams or engaging in a friendly debate about the latest games.
For 12 years, Gabe dedicated himself to O’Reilly Auto Parts, serving as a store manager for the past seven years. He was not just a leader but a mentor and friend to his colleagues, always going above and beyond to lend a helping hand.
Gabe had a unique ability to connect with others, always ready to help however he could. Whether it was a kind word, a gesture of support, or simply his presence, he made those around him feel valued and loved.
Gabe’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and selflessness. He leaves behind a grieving yet grateful family and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sheala; his beloved son, Asher; his parents, Sergio (Graciela) Arevalo, Delia Arevalo; his siblings, Adrian, Nick, Ramon, Josh, Jazmine, and Sahira; and countless friends and extended family members who will miss him deeply.
Rest easy, Gabe. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
