FEDENSA MARIA SALAIS

Fedensa Maria Salais, 66,  of Jerome, passed away on Dec. 20, 2023 in Twin Falls.

Maria was born on July 22, 1957, the daughter of Jesus Salais and Amelia Perez, in Lubbock, Texas.  

She was raised and educated in Lubbock.

"Maria" was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She kept a special place in her heart for grandchildren. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went, she loved music and loved to dance. Maria spent her time working as a caregiver and her kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation of beauty, love of family and friends, and the way she always made sure those around her were taken care of and had a roof over their heads and food in their bellys will forever be cherished.We will forever be thankfull of all the wonderful and varied experiences we had with her and she will be eternally missed.

Maria is survived by one son; Santiago Hernandez, 4 daughters; Ashley Guerra, Rachael Santoya, Elisena Rodriguez, and Vanessa Hernandez, two sisters; Leticia Rodriguez, and Alma Sanders, twenty three grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her mother; Amelia Perez, her father Jesus Salais, and brothers Juan Salais and Rudy Aguilera.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00, Jan. 5, 2023, at Demaray's Jerome Memorial Chapel.  Services conclude at the chapel.
