Dax Gabriel Richins

Dax Gabriel Richins, age 18, of Jerome, Idaho, lost his life on June 24, 2024.

He was born as Josiah Lee Davidson on September 17, 2005, to Sherry Faye Cox and J. D. Davidson in Idaho Falls.  On March 10, 2009, he was adopted into the family of Rodney and Delene Judy Richins, where his name was changed to Dax Gabriel Richins and he became a sibling to five more brothers.

Dax attended Woodland Hills Elementary School in Ammon then transferred to Idaho Virtual Academy where he attended through the beginning of his senior year.  Dax loved to read and play video games.  He had a love for the outdoors and spent many happy times camping with his family and his scout troop.  He liked to draw and was planning to become an Architect when he got older.  Dax is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Delene Richins of Jerome, Idaho; his siblings Dagan (Brittnie) Richins of Pocatello, Idaho, Dylan Richins of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Daniel (Rebecca) Richins of Rigby, Idaho, Derek Richins of Augusta, Georgia, Devin Richins of Jerome, Idaho, and Destry Richins of Jerome; nieces; Elizabeth, Jayla, and Paisley, nephews; Emmitt, Ryder, and Knox; grandparents Dave and Beverly Richins of Roberts, Idaho and many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

He was taken too soon and missed so very much.
