DANIEL MELQUIADES MARTINEZ

Daniel M. Martinez, 23, of Jerome, Idaho, passed away on Aug. 26, 2023.  

Daniel was born on July 13, 2000, in Twin Falls, Idaho the son of Melquiades Martinez and Erica Lynn Garcia.  He was raised and educated in Buhl and was known and loved by many.

Daniel had a penchant for the wild side.  His spirit yearned for adventure, often leading towards paths less traveled.   He lived life on the edge, embracing challenges and seeking thrills at every turn.  He made you wonder what type of beautiful adventures you'd be having every time you saw his mischievous, crooked smile.  Danny's the guy you could pour your soul to, providing love, safety, and the assurance that hope will brighten the most painful parts of us.

He is survived by his grandparents; Cindy and Juan Ricardo Garcia, Sr., his father; Melquiades Martinez, his grandmother; Ma Ascension, great grandmothers; Enedine Sanchez and Simona Castro, his great grandfather Juan Castro, his brothers; Kevin and Eric Martinez, his sisters; Giselle Martinez, Vanessa Rodriguez, and London Rodriguez, aunts and uncles; Rick Garcia, Jr., Lisa Rodriguez Garcia, Alma Nieto, Humberto Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Roman Martinez, Julie Soria, Jose Martinez, and Omar Martinez, as well as many cousins.  

He is preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Erica Garcia, his cousin Julie Martinez, and his great grandfather Leonel Sanchez.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August, 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at Demaray's Jerome Memorial Chapel, 629 3rd Ave. E. Jerome.  Viewing will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.
