Cleon Parley Thompson (Jr.) passed away peacefully in his home in Twin Falls, Idaho on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, at the age of 78.
Cleon was born in Wendell, Idaho on September 22nd, 1943 to Cleon Parley Thompson (Sr.) and Byrda Lee Haberman. He spent his early years working on his cars. He had a passion for hot rods. He graduated from Jerome High school. Shortly following his graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Jill Anne Fuller. They were happily married for 54 years.
Cleon enjoyed spending time with his sweetheart, children and grandchildren. He loved going out to dinner with his friends and playing card games every Saturday night. He especially loved working in the yard and watching old western shows.
He enjoyed serving others in his lifelong career working for Culligan Water. After 35 years he retired and began his new adventure, gardening in his new beautiful yard and reliving his childhood by helping his son on the farm.
Cleon is lovingly remembered by his children; Dan (Paul) Thompson, Brian (Robyn) Thompson, and Mark (Lisa) Thompson. He is also remembered fondly by his 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his 3 siblings.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at the Jerome Cemetery, Cemetery Rd, Jerome, Idaho 83338. Arrangements are under the care of Demaray’s Jerome Memorial Chapel.
After the service the family would like to invite all friends and family to come to the house for fellowship, 936 Hankins Rd. Twin Falls.
