Casey Romans, 34, of Castleford, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Rogerson.

Casey was born on June 27, 1988, in Burley, Idaho, the son of Jacob and Tonya Romans.

Casey Romans, what a damn fine cowboy! He is remembered by his tough exterior, but gentle soul. His unique sense of humor, style, and music choices. He would sing, dance, and outride most anyone.

Casey grew up all over the west. The Alvord, Island, and Gilmore Ranches were some of the many places his brother Cole, sister Kylie and himself were taught "The True Cowboy Way," from his father, Jacob and mother Tanya.

At age 18, he had his first born, Ali, the first real love of his family. He married her mother, Amando Holloway in 2006. They spent 2 years married, continuing the ranch life.

On Aug 1, 2012 he welcomed his 2nd daughter, Italee, with Sara Romans. They married May 29, 2013, and headed to Montana where he had the pleasure of training colts for Pat Cremer, and cowboyed at the Pronghorn and Ceded Strip Ranches.

On December 15, 2015, they welcomed their 3rd daughter, Aisa. Casey loved his baby girls more than anything! He will always be their best friend and biggest protector.

They moved back to Idaho in 2016 and bought their forever home in Castleford, ID where he ranched for himself and dear friend Hiram Finney. Casey got to enjoy his last couple months and his last ride with Lauren Hutchingson on June 21, 2023.

Casey Live a short, but wild life. He will always be riding next to his girls and friends. He will always remain a COWBOY LEGEND!

Casey is survived by his wife Sara Romans, his parents; Jacob and Tonya Romans, his daughters: Ali, Italee, and Aisa, one brother; Cole Romans, one sister; Kylie Black; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, his grandmother; and Stanley Romans.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Norris Romans, cousin; Mason Adams, and an aunt; Beverly Smit.

A viewing will be held on June 26, 2023, at 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Demaray's Jerome Memorial Chapel (629 3rd Ave. E. Jerome). Funeral services will held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at the chapel.. The family asks for friends and family to gather at Forsyth Park immediately follow the chapel service to continue celebrating Casey's life and sending him off with Birthday wishes.
